Studio Visit at Zodiac Stained Glass

A private class for Lakeland Art League members only. During this class you will create one of these pieces — your pick: Pumpkin (6" x 5.5"), Fall Leaf (2 options), or Honeycomb (4" x 4"). Tools & equipment: class requires the use of several tools that can cause harm when not used correctly, including sharp cutters, grinders, and soldering irons. Students must be able to firmly grip tools and handle small glass pieces. Wear clothing that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes; avoid loose sleeves and jewelry. Safety and protective equipment is provided and its use is required — students who do not follow the safety guidelines will be dismissed with no refund. Food is not permitted in the studio; beverages must have lids. Stained glass involves direct contact with lead products — students who are pregnant or breastfeeding should take extra precautions. Courses are for ages 14+; minors (under 18) must have a parent or guardian present in a paid seat.

About the artist

Kim Ochocinski

Kim is excited to share her passion for working with glass with everyone, creating many different pieces of stained glass and lamps in her studio in Woodruff, Wisconsin. She offers different projects and classes for all skill levels of glass lovers. She loves teaching others how to work with glass and create special pieces, either from their own designs or premade designs. Many pieces are inspired by the Northwoods and bring the outdoors in, or help celebrate the current season. In the future she looks forward to bringing fused glass to the area, allowing another creative way for people to work with glass and express themselves through bright colors and designs.

Cancellation policy

Due to the limited number of seats, students must contact the studio 72 hours in advance to cancel reservations and receive a full refund. Any cancellation within 72 hours of class, or no-shows, will be ineligible for refunds.
