Annual membership is $70.00 renewed every year by January 31st.
The Lakeland Art League has lots to offer, if your art adventure is just beginning, you have been an artist for years, or somewhere in between. We welcome you!
Be a part of our creative community where we freely share ideas and listen to your ideas. We promote your art and you as an artist by offering opportunities to exhibit in a variety of venues including the Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau.
Member meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month to discuss league business & grow friendships. Show & Tell follows the meeting giving members the opportunity to share details on a piece of art they created, answer questions, be critiqued and supported by others.
There is a board of ten directors including 4 officers with opportunities to utilize leadership skills.
We offer Regular Monthly Workshops March through November. In addition, Studio Visits; Special Guest Artist workshops are available to help your artistic ability grow.
The Minocqua and neighboring communities are important to us. We support future young artists through scholarships.Our goal is to promote art in our area, enhance an artist’s experiences and learning, and provide a welcoming group for artists to join.
Open Art

An opportunity to socialize and work on your own art is offered once a month at Open Art. Members gather to work amongst other artists.
We are a sharing group building relationships around art. Artists may share ideas and techniques during this gathering time.
Open Art takes place from 9:00 am to noon every third Wednesday of the month year-round. We gather at Generations, 103 Elm Street, Woodruff. Lower level (the old F&M Bank building), northwest corner of Hwy 51 & Hwy J (Townline Road).
