My painting passion began with oil folk-art workshops decades ago and transitioned into acrylic decorative painting. Through the years I was fortunate to have very talented friends, and we attended many conventions and workshops together. Learning from these experiences gave me the tools to share them with you. I am always exploring new techniques and mediums to bring to classes and share with fellow painters — that is my biggest joy. Thanks for the opportunity.

What to bring / supplies

A hot glue gun with an extension cord to reach outlets; glue sticks; a hair dryer; a primed canvas board (9x12, 12x12 — whatever size you wish); a variety of stiffer round and flat brushes (sizes 4, 6, 8, 10); a wash brush (size 12) and 1/4" and 1/2" brushes; a pencil to sketch with; Q-tips; paper towels; a brush basin; and the usual acrylic painting supplies. If you have a turntable, bring it. Note: glue guns vary in the size of their glue stream. A thicker stream builds texture faster; the thinner the stream, the longer it takes to create your picture — check your gun to be sure it does what you want. There is a $5.00 supply fee paid directly to Coralee for paints. She will supply paint and several iridescent colors; if you want any other colors, please bring your own.
